FIGHTING FOR

COMMUNITIES.

FUNDING CHANGE.

The Harold & Carole Pump Foundation has spent 26 years investing in people — funding cancer care, supporting families, and now expanding our reach to empower nonprofits creating lasting change across our community.

The Harold & Carole Pump Foundation Celebrity Dinner has always been about more than a night out - it's been about what happens after. The programs funded. The families supported. The lives changed.

In 2026, we honor that tradition while expanding our reach into deeper community impact - because the people we serve deserve everything we've got. Join us August 20th at the Beverly Hilton.

26 Years of
Fighting Cancer.

Now Fighting for Everyone.

The Harold & Carole Pump Foundation was built on one mission: fund the fight against cancer and support the patients and families living through it. Over 2 decades and $13.5 million later, that mission hasn’t changed — it’s expanded. We’re taking everything we’ve learned about showing up for people in their hardest moments and applying it to a bigger stage.

Today, the Foundation is awarding $500,000 in grants to nonprofits across the United States who are doing the hard, necessary work of strengthening communities.

Different causes. Same commitment.

What people say

“The Harold & Carole Pump Foundation has offered a taxi service to assist in getting me to my medical appointments. This has been extra beneficial due to the fact that I am currently bound to a wheelchair. Without this taxi service I would not be able to make it to and from my appointments. I would recommend The Harold & Carole Pump Foundation to anyone struggling with Cancer.”

Grateful Patient

Never in a million years did I ever believe that I would find myself with a lack of health insurance, but it is my reality. I have always found myself being preventative with my health; you’ve allowed me to continue with that behavior. Money should never be the reason to not take care of yourself. I am truly grateful. Blessings to the Pump Foundation and that it will continue to touch many people.”

Grateful Patient

“I would like to express my heartfelt appreciation to the Harold & Carole Pump Foundation for supporting the mammogram program. Without your help I would not be able to continue doing my mammogram screening. Thank you very much.”

Grateful Patient

“How can you thank a program that actually saves lives? This note does not seem enough. Know that this program and your Foundation helped me when my insurance ran out, after I lost my job. Thank you for being there when I was scared and confused! Many, many, and many thanks.”

Celebrity Testimonials

Denzel Washington

“Most importantly, if you’re honoring us, you’re honoring all those people whose lives have been touched by this beast, and who every day fight that battle. And with the help of these two slightly overweight red-headed freckle-faced Jewish boys, they’ll win the battle.”

Earvin “Magic” Johnson

“It feels great to be here! The Pump Brothers are doing an outstanding job. Any time you are able to touch somebody’s life and help their lives be better- you’ve got to really respect the Pump Brothers for what they are doing in honor of their father and also helping people with the money they are raising for cancer tonight. It really is outstanding.”

Bob Knight

"I was so pleased to lend my support to Dana and David Pump and the Harold Pump Foundation in helping them raise funds to fight Cancer. What they are doing with the Foundation is quite unique and special.”

Pat Riley

“I think everybody knows what they’ve done with the Harold Pump Foundation. I’m familiar with how much they care and how concerned they are trying to find a cure for cancer. It’s a testimony to who they are and what they stand for. They really are significant individuals. I’m proud to be here.”

Sugar Ray Leonard

“They’re so amazing and so commendable for the charity they’re doing for cancer. My mom is a cancer survivor. My dad has cancer now. So this is very dear to me. So I’m here to support”

Ronnie Lott

“One thing corporate America understands is that link to the community where they can lend their support to a great cause.”

John Wooden

“When you help others, you create magic. Some people just talk about it, but David and Dana Pump, through the Harold Pump Foundation, do something about it. What is our life about, if not to help reduce the pain and suffering of others? This Foundation has raised over $1,300,000 in its 6 years of existence; I would say they have created a lot of magic in many cancer patients’ lives.”

Ozzie Smith

“David and Dana Pump… when they call, people come running and this is a start-studded event!”

Mike Krzyzewski

“Basically tonight is not just about raising money….I want what Jimmy (Valvano) wanted and what they (the Pumps) want. I want your mind and your soul. I want your heart. I want your effort, and I want to bring money too, but don’t just give money, be a part of this.”

Billy Packer

“One of the things I think most corporate executives try to do is to get associated with events that have some legs. This event is about having a good time, rubbing elbows with people from college and professional sports and supporting a very good cause.”
